Engineering profile

An engineer for AI-native systems and backend products

What I build, stated plainly and without claims the evidence does not support.

I am a final-year BSc Computing Systems student in London, building AI-native products and the backend systems behind them. My work spans APIs, data, cloud runtimes and the interfaces people actually use, with model outputs and data treated as things that must stay inspectable.

Retrieval and model workflows only earn trust when their outputs can be checked, so I design the evidence path alongside the feature. Failure paths, state ownership and tests are part of the design rather than an afterthought, and full-stack breadth is what carries that work through to delivery.

In practice

Across LYTA, PARTHA, KALYX and ReturnProof, that means making the decision path visible, keeping ownership over state clear, and testing failure cases before they become a problem for the user.

Engineering practice

Built as one system

AI systems

The work is connected: model behaviour, data boundaries, tests and deployment are designed together.

Featured work

Four systems, built around evidence

Each project states the problem it solves and the stack behind it. Full detail lives on the work page.

Academic evidence and leadership

Verifiable standing, credentials and contribution, stated without embellishment.

Academic standing

  • BSc (Hons) Computing Systems, Ulster University, London

  • Expected September 2026

  • Predicted First Class

  • Dean's List, Years 1 and 2

Credentials and current learning

Leadership and contribution

  • Project owner and maintainer of PARTHA, coordinating a small project team.

  • Student Representative and Staff-Student Consultative Committee member, 2024 to 2026.

  • Mentored 15+ peers on AI workflows and practical development tooling.

  • Delivered workshops and seminars for first-year students on settling into university study, ethical AI use and academic integrity, alongside job-search preparation covering GitHub, LinkedIn and open-source contribution.

Technical stack

The technologies these systems are built on

Tools used across the systems in this portfolio.

  • Python

  • TypeScript

  • FastAPI

  • React

  • SQL + PostgreSQL

  • Cloudflare Workers

  • Workers AI

  • RAG + embeddings

  • Docker

  • Microsoft Azure

  • GitHub Actions

  • pytest + Playwright

Frontend
Typed React interfaces that make system state legible, with accessible responsive layouts.
Backend and data
Python and TypeScript services with validated APIs in FastAPI, Django and Django Ninja, PostgreSQL schemas and migrations, plus Redis for caching and queues.
Cloud and systems
Containerised delivery onto Azure and Cloudflare Workers, with Durable Objects where state ownership must be explicit.
Testing and AI
Unit, API and browser tests, alongside retrieval and model features with output validation, model evaluation and security tooling.

Engineering practice: AI-assisted development with Codex and Claude Code, backed by human review, tests and version control.
